
A mat based class involving flows or sequences of yoga shapes/poses to support mental and physical balance, flexibility and strength. Breath and mindfulness practices are also part of the class. You will need to be able to move gently from the mat to standing and back without pain or discomfort. There will be props available to support or challenge including yoga blocks, bricks, straps, bolsters the chair or a wall. Plenty of options and adaptations will be given to suit what your body or mind needs and everything is optional. Suitable for beginners or those who have practised before. At the moment, if you prefer to have the option of being in a chair throughout or a more steady approach, the Accessible Chair/Mat/Stand Class might be a better fit.
